About This Site

This website was designed for a theater history course of 19th and 20th Century Performance at Dartmouth College. The objective is to understand the effects of Sondheim's work in the second half of the 20th century. This is not an exhaustive website of his many works and their effects on modern-day music and theater; however, the information detailed and sources used can be helpful in understanding more about this incredible playwright and composer.
